7 Days with Eli: Mondaze

This is what happens every time Rafael and I run into each other on our block.

My days don't really begin until I get off work at 6PM and actually become a real person, but by that point I'm so tired that all I want to do is go to the gym, wank one out, and go to bed. I don't really like to go out and party like other twenty-somethings in New York City who get plastered at a club and dance shirtless with a horde of sweaty bodies, find their soul mate from across the crowded room, and make out until they wake up next to each other the next morning not knowing the other's name. I may be generalizing a population of my... I guess we can call them "peers," but what I'm trying to say is that I'm more of a homebody who prefers lively piano and dive bars to the thumpa thumpa of a megaclub when going out for a night with the boys.

I have very fond memories of the very first time I attended Folsom Street East back in 2011. I was a curious college student who wanted to explore his sexuality and was giddy with excitement upon discovering an event which celebrated fetish and kink. Unprepared but willing to learn, I made my way to the avenue strip of West 28th Street between 9th and 10th Avenue where a line of bears, leathermen, and chasers was forming. Catching my breath, I walked through and took my first step into this community and brotherhood of men.

2012 RentBoy XXXmas Party at WestGay

We kicked off the holiday season with our XXXmas party at WestGay at The WestWay in the West Village. We had quite the delicious lineup of guys who attended including yours truly, Jake Steel, Kennedy Carter, Vito Gallo, Tommy Defendi, Nicko Morales, and Rafael Alencar to name a few. Giving you holigay spirit realness, we were decked out in our festive gear including my jingling balls and Jake flashing everyone with his twinkling Christmas lights.

Black Party Expo 2012

This past weekend marked the 32nd consecutive season of the Black Party in New York City, presented by The Saint at Large. The exposition showcases several vendors, adult entertainers, performers, and artists of the nightlife and adult entertainment industries in a gorgeous venue where they can drink, party, shop, and drool over hot men.
