Ben Rimalower Has Patti Issues

"Your tie's crooked, doll."

My good friend Ben Rimalower is afflicted with an ailment known as Patti Issues, "a condition wherein the patient experiences a transference of love he didn't receive in his childhood onto actress and singer Patti LuPone." Luckily for him there is hope yet! You can help Ben by celebrating his road to recovery at the one year anniversary of his solo play fittingly titled "Patti Issues" at the Duplex in New York City (61 Christopher Street, New York, NY 10014 - on 7th Avenue).

PATTI ISSUES (2013 Bistro Award for Solo Play and M.A.C. Award for "New York Debut - Male")
Written and performed by Ben Rimalower
Directed by Aaron Mark

Celebrating ONE YEAR at the Duplex! Final extension now through August 15th, plus Fire Island Pines, Provincetown, Boston and the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center--and internationally, Glasgow and Berlin! Complete schedule at PattiIssues.com.

“A tight hourlong monologue that pairs a well-honed script with an engagingly spontaneous delivery and a nose for sharp, observational comedy. Mr. Rimalower’s funny, tender reminiscence rides an infectious rainbow high.”—New York Times

"Meticulously scripted and executed, with poignant punch lines that deliver laughs, emotion and insight."—Time Out New York

"Endearing, drolly written, and performed with heaps of charisma."—The New Yorker

"Spellbinding. One of the best (and now longest-running) offerings of the year."—Village Voice

"Best NYC Theater 2012"—The Advocate
