Hustling: An Original Web Series Wins Best Actor and Best Ensemble at Last Night's Indie Soap Awards 2013

The cast of "Hustling" attends 4th Annual Indie Soap Awards at New World Stages on February 19, 2013 in NYC.

Hustling Hustling is an original web series written and directed by Sebastian La Cause. La Cause also plays the main character, Ryan Crosby, who, under his escorting pseudonym Rod Driver, is a recently-turned 40 sex worker who wants to get out of the industry and incite a change in his life. This smart and sexy drama recently finished its second season and won 3 Groovy Awards for Grooviest Guest Star: Gerald McCullouch, Grooviest Drama Series, and Grooviest Actor: Sebastian La Cause.

The series was also nominated for seven Indie Soap Awards last night and came out winning Best Actor in a Drama: Sebastian La Cause as well as Best Ensemble in a Drama. La Cause, a true renaissance man, is the writer, director, producer, and actor of Hustling and created the edgy drama with the help of his friends on zero budget, describing the experience and process as being “about ‘doing’ and learning and evolving as an artist and a as a human being.”
